Michael Alan Kowal (Nashista), is a musician and and artist, born in new England, now living in the deep southern United States. His music style ranges from World Beat to Electronica to Folk and Blues, as well as orchestral music for Yoga, Tai Chi, and QiGong.
For the past 20 years Michael has been creating art with a very unique finely finessed technique that weaves in and out of Impressionistic and Abstract styles, using mediums such as Pen and Ink, Acrylics, Water Colors, and Milk Paint.
Also a photographer, Michael's focus is landscapes and animal life that he encounters as an avid hiker and backpacker, traveling extensively throughout the United States. Utilizing various photography tools, he also creates abstract visions of many of his photographs, displaying and selling them under the title Disparidigm.
